    1998

    Cooperative Agreement signed between Global Communities (formerly CHF International) and USAID to establish the Southern Jordan Access to Credit Project (SJACP): The purpose of the project was to provide microfinance lending services to the residents of the southern Governorates of Jordan over a period of five years, as well as building an interactive capacity with the formal financial institutions through risk-sharing partnerships with commercial banks.     Middle East Micro Credit Company (MEMCC) registered as a Limited Liability Non-Profit Company in January 2003.

    2011

    Establishment of Vitas Group, a subsidiary of Global Communities. It has always been the goal of Global Communities to meet its customers’ financial needs, but more importantly, to help them realize their full potential and contribute positively to their communities. To that end, Global Communities created a commercial holding company— Vitas Group—to improve its long-term impact on families, businesses and communities through the provision of financial services.

    2013

    Creation of the trade name Vitas Jordan This meant establishing a for-profit company to work under Vitas Group. In 2013, Partners for Micro Credit was established and worked jointly with MEMCC under the trade name Vitas Jordan.

    2021

    Partners for Micro Credit the sole company under the trade name Vitas Jordan. During the period between 2013-2016, the operations of MEMCC gradually moved to Partners for Micro Credit, and in 2017 the two companies separated; MEMCC as a non-for-profit moved under global communities again to work in the non-for-profit projects, while Partners for Micro Credit still trades under the name Vitas Jordan and continues to serve its clients’ financial needs.

Our new identity is the fruit of a long and careful process, in which we communicated with our employees, our partners, and on the most important is you “our Clients” taking into consideration your opinions and interest seeking to preserve a strong and distinguished trademark to keep the respect and trust worthy relationship between us.
